PURPOSE: An electrophoresis display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce a screen flicker according to refreshment by perfectly removing an afterimage on a previous screen. CONSTITUTION: A previous screen is changed into a first gray level(10) by alternatively supplying an initial data pulse to a display panel according to a first reset wave form in a first reset period. The image of the previous screen is completely reset by changing a first gray level into a second gray level(20) in a second reset period and repetitively performing the change of the first gray level and the second gray level. A next screen is displayed by supplying a data pulse to the display panel according to a data update wave form in a data update period.
