APPARATUS FOR CHECKING TOOL STATUS OF TOOL MAGAZINE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for checking a tool state of a tool magazine and a checking method thereof are provided to prevent unnecessary inspection with respect to a tool which is not used because a data is recorded before using in each tool. CONSTITUTION: A device for checking a tool state of a tool magazine comprises a filming unit(210), a numerical controller(230), and a panel PC(220). The filming unit films the state of a tool mounted on the tool magazine. The numerical controller manages a tool list in which the tool information including the lifetime and the port number information of the tool. The panel PC records a filming image and the number of filming by matching with the tool list. The panel PC generates a candidate list for the tool in which the replacement is firstly required or the lifetime is run out from the recorded data and induces the tool to replace.
