RESIN COMPOSITION FOR A FIREPROOF GLASS AND AFIREPROOF GLASS USING IT

PURPOSE: A resin composition for fireproof glass and fireproof glass using the same are provided to maximize the fireproof performance of the fireproof glass and improve the transparency of the fireproof glass. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for fireproof glass includes 54-85 weight% of silica sol, 12-25 weight% of potassium hydroxide(KOH), 2-15 weight% of boric acid, and 1-6 weight% of a stabilizer. The total solid part content in the resin composition is in the range between 48 and 67 weight%. The silica sol has 40-50 weight% of solid parts. The stabilizer is one or more of triethanol amine, ethylene glycol, monoethanol amine, or diethanol amine. Fireproof glass includes a plurality of glass boards(W) which is spaced apart from each other, and the lateral side of the fireproof glass is finished by a frame(F). Space parts(S) are formed between the glass boards. The resin composition is injected into the space parts.
