PURPOSE: A battery cooling system for electric vehicles is provided to improve cooling performance by independent air flow without influence on cell module assemblies from each other. CONSTITUTION: A battery cooling system comprises a battery(10) having a plurality of rooms(11-14) and cell module assemblies(21-24) respectively mounted to the rooms; and a battery cooling unit inhaling cooling air into the rooms and discharging inner air of the rooms. The battery cooling unit comprises inflow ducts(31-34) guiding external air; outflow ducts(51,54) discharging air which has cooled the cell module assembly; and a plurality of suction fans(41,44) discharging the air to outside. |
