PURPOSE: A device for controlling the rim width in a wheel of a vehicle tire is provided to control the area of the contact area of the tire by controlling the width in the wheel. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the rim width in a wheel of a vehicle tire comprises a first rim unit(10), a second rim unit(20), a steel beam fixing unit(30), a rim controller(50), a steel beam(60), and an insulating rubber(70). The first and second rim units are divided to two parts based on the vertical surface of the rim width. The steel beam fixing unit is formed in the opposite direction where the tire exists on the first rim unit. The rim controller is installed to face the steel beam fixing unit of the first rim unit on a disk(40) adhered to the second rim unit. The steel beam is installed between the steel beam fixing unit and the rim controller. The insulating rubber fills a gap between the first rim unit and the second rim unit at a meeting point where the first rim unit meets the second rim unit. [Reference numerals] (AA) Rim width
