PURPOSE: A rotor current control circuit for a synchronous generator is provided to reduce a wattless current by directly controlling the excitation current in the rotor of a main generator. CONSTITUTION: A rotor current control circuit for a synchronous generator is composed of the following steps. A main generator has a stator and a rotor. An exciter(20) is composed of a stator and a rotor. A subcontroller(30) provides an excited current to the rotor. A main controller(40) performs control communicating with the subcontroller. A switching device switches a power generated from a rectifying section. |
