A hinge assembly for securing an upper plate of a die to a press slide comprises a floating shank with a flange, which is mounted on a thrust bearing contacting with the upper plate of die, concentrically to the shank an assembly flange (lid) is mounted and secured on the plate, which has seals for sealing the assembly cavity. The shank contacts with the thrust bearing and assembly flange along spherical surfaces on the flange of shank, between the bearing surfaces of flange and thrust bearing, the thrust bearing and die plate elastic elements are mounted, which provide vertical gaps between them. In the flange of shank holes are made in perpendicular to its spherical surface. The cavity of assembly is filled with viscous fluid. Along the perimeter of the shank flange between it and die plate a polyurethane ring is installed, which seals the cavity under the shank flange along the contour. |
