PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for manufacturing a sun visor is provided to manufacture the sun visor with a foaming material and to prevent noise generated when the manufactured sun visor is actuated. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a sun visor includes an assembling jig (1), a foldable driving unit, and a heating unit. The assembling jig is installed to be folded and unfolded in both side directions. The lower panel (L) and upper panel (U) of the sun visor are respectively mounted on both sides of the assembling jig. The assembling jig includes a first jig panel (1-1) and a second jig panel (1-2). The foldable driving unit folds and unfolds the assembling jig. The foldable driving unit comprises linear displacement generators (3) respectively connected to the lower sides of the first and the second jig panel. The heating unit at the upper side of the assembling jig heats the lower and the upper panel mounted on the assembling jig.
