Disclosed is an ethylenic polymer having a long characteristic relaxation time. The ethylenic polymer satisfies the following requirements: (a) the ethylenic polymer is a non-crosslinked ethylenic polymer; (b) the number of long-chain branches (LCB) per 1000 carbon atoms is 0.1-1.5 inclusive; (c) the intrinsic viscosity [eta] is 1.0-3.0 dl/g inclusive; and (d) the ratio (G'/G'') of the storage modulus (G') to the loss modulus (G''), determined by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at 190° C. and at an angular frequency of 0.1 rad/sec is 0.8 or more and 4.0 or less.
