REELING TRANSFER DEVICE FOR SLABS IN A ROLLING MILL LINE

A reeling transfer device for slabs in a rolling mill line comprises mutually perpendicular transfer and reeling roller conveyors. The receiving section of reeling roller conveyor is equipped with a lifting table that from the side of transfer rolling conveyer is mounted on a hydraulic cylinder rod, and from the opposite side is secured on a pivot bearing. The device comprises an inclined shelf in the form of beams with limiting stops at the ends located between the rolls of receiving section of the reeling roller conveyer and mounted on a section between the transfer and reeling roller conveyors so that in the horizontal position of the lifting table the upper generatrix of rollers of the receiving section is located above the upper point of inclined shelf. In the inclined position of lifting table the upper generatrix of said rollers are located below the lower point of the elements of inclined shelf. The rollers of transfer conveyor are conical and installed in a staggered manner.
