PURPOSE: A data sensing circuit and a memory device including the same are provided to reduce the size of the data sensing circuit by reducing the number of elements comprising the data sensing circuit. CONSTITUTION: A current source(210) supplies a reference current to an output line. A switching element(201) connects an input line and the output line in a precharge operation of the input line. A current sinking element(202) sinks the current from the output line in response to a voltage level of the input line. A comparator(220) compares a voltage level of the output line with a level of the reference voltage.
