<p>PURPOSE: A method for modeling a mobile application architecture based on client-server and a device thereof are provided to model the mobile application architecture based on client-server by applying features of a mobile application. CONSTITUTION: A function cost calculating unit(310) calculates costs for performing a function provided by a mobile application by using a data set. If a client performs the function through data communication with a server, a communication overhead calculating unit(320) calculates overheads consumed for the data communication with the server. An MVC pattern determining unit(330) determines an MVC pattern of a server side and a client side by using the overheads and the costs.
