PURPOSE: A hollow composite structure member formed by incremental pressure resin transfer molding and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain a smooth inner surface and to improve durability by preventing the infiltration of moisture with the inner surface. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a hollow composite structure member formed by incremental pressure resin transfer molding is as follows. A reinforcing fabric is wound on the exterior of a mandrel(1). Air is gradually injected to apply incremental pressure to injected resin through a flexible mold(2). The internal pressure of a mold(4) is reduced and the mold is rotated by a rotating machine at a low speed to arrange the reinforcing fabric. The internal pressure of the mold is increased to discharge the residual resin through an air vent(6). The flexible resin is welded or adhered while hardening the resin at a high temperature in a hardening furnace. |
