PURPOSE: A steel coil shaping device of a heavy duty tire is provided to supply a tire with high stability by having a time for extending when an excessive tension hangs on a reinforcing belt of a steel coil. CONSTITUTION: A steel coil shaping device of a heavy duty tire comprises a coil compressor(22). The coil compressor comprises an upper mold(24), and a lower mold(26). The coil compressor supplies a steel coil(20) for a reinforcing belt by adding a deformation as a predetermined shape to a predetermined part of a coil before sending to a steel coil feeder supplying to a belt shaping drum. The steel coil for the reinforcing belt is arranged between belted layers in order to reinforce a belted layer of a heavy duty tire.
