A method for performance express evaluation of corrosion inhibitors in a conditions of destruction of a metal surface passive film, which method consists in that the wire on the basis of a passive metal or alloy is supplied into the chamber with the corrosion-inhibited solution and this wire is cut from the end with a special parting shear device with a nonconductive ceramic blade for producing freshly formed metal surface and measuring its electrochemical parameter, wherein during the tests the measurement current polarization of the metal surface is carried out during the free corrosion potential in the solution.
