CELL ASSEMBLY OF NOVEL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A cell assembly is comprises two or more plate-shaped battery cells in one case, thereby improving designing convenience, carrying, and safety. CONSTITUTION: A cell assembly(100) includes two or more plate-shaped unit cells(101,102). The plate-shaped unit cell is mounted in an insulative pouch type assembly case(150). The negative electrode terminal(111) of the plate-shaped unit cells is electrically connected to a safety element(180). External input and output terminals of the cell assembly are protruded toward one side end of the pouch type assembly case.
