PURPOSE: A device for measuring an EEG(Electro Encephalogram) and a method thereof are provided to remove noise generated from a head motion in brainwave data by predicting the head motion of a user from an image obtained from a photographing device uniting the photographing device in an EEG sensor. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring an EEG comprises a photographing device(20); an EEG sensor(30) acquiring brainwave data of a subject; and a control device(10). The control device comprises a motion recognition part(110) recognizing a head motion of a subject by analyzing images obtained from the photographing device, and a correction part(120) correcting brainwave data obtained for duration time when the duration time of the head motion recognized by the motion recognition part is over a predetermined critical.
