PURPOSE: A flame retardant urethane composition is provided to form a protection film capable of being endured at high temperature of 1,200°C. CONSTITUTION: A flame retardant urethane composition consists of 10-60 wt% of a foaming agent, 2-35 wt% of a blowing agent, 3-25 wt% of a carbonizing agent, 10-55 wt% of a binder, 5-40 wt% of a solvent, and 5-20 wt% of a pigment. The foaming agent is a combination of one or more selected from ammonium polyphosphate, diammonium, tripolyphosphate, and potassium. The blowing agent is melamine. The carbonizing agent is a combination of one or more selected from dipentathryestol, polyol, and paraffin.
