METHOD FOR RESTORATION OF SMALL INTESTINE PATENCY AT STRANGULATED INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION

A method for restoration of small intestine patency at strangulated intestinal obstruction involves surgical abdomen opening, abolition of causes of squeezing by hernial orifices. Prior to releasing intestine from squeezing it is filled with gelatin mass by means of catheter inserted to small intestine lumen through cecoileostomy underneath strangulation place and onward along the length thereof with formation of plug corresponding to 3-4 intestine diameters.
