<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amount of creep of a material to be transported due to heat treatment within a furnace, safely, accurately and in real time, thereby achieving adequate heat treatment of the material to be transported. <P>SOLUTION: A heat treatment device includes: an unwinder sending out a material to be transported, the material being wound in a coil shape in the transport direction; a furnace installed downstream of the unwinder and performing heat treatment on the material to be transported; a winder winding the material after having been subjected to the heat treatment, in a coil shape; a first speed measuring instrument measuring a transport speed of the material at an inlet side of the furnace; a second speed measuring instrument measuring a transport speed of the material at an outlet side of the furnace; and a control unit estimating an amount of creep of the material due to the heat treatment in the furnace, on the basis of each measurement result obtained from the first speed measuring instrument and the second speed measuring instrument, and controlling at least one of a rotational speed and rotational torque of the unwinder and the winder so that the amount of creep falls within a tolerance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
