<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handwriting input device that allows a user to easily and reliably pasting information displayed in an arbitrary area to an arbitrary position, and to provide an information editing program and an information editing method. <P>SOLUTION: A handwriting input device that allows a user to perform handwriting input using a touch panel disposed on a display unit, includes: a first processing unit that identifies a first shape input by handwriting, and stores in a storage unit the first shape or a second shape associated with the first shape and information displayed in an area defined by the first shape in association with each other, in response to a capture instruction; and a second processing unit that compares a shape input by handwriting with shapes stored in the storage unit, and, when there is a shape determined to match the input shape, pastes the information stored in the storage unit in association with the shape to a handwriting input position of the shape and displays the information, in response to a paste instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
