<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching mode power supply device for image forming apparatus, capable of more further reducing power consumption in a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention comprises a conversion section that converts an AC voltage input into a power supply device into at least one DC voltage, using at least one transformer, and a voltage adjustment section that adjusts a voltage level of an output voltage output into a control section for controlling the operation of an image forming apparatus, of at least one converted DC voltage.
