<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which present to a user device, a print setting screen including information indicating a status of an image forming apparatus even when a print service device does not support a function for displaying the status of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Information processors (102, 103) acquire status information of a printer, adds a status name indicating the acquired status information to a printer name of the printer, and updates with the printer name having the status name added, a printer name within printer information corresponding to the printer controlled by the print service device.
