<p>A vehicle seat can be moved from a starting position to a laterally offset end position and back, and the vehicle seat is oriented in the same direction in the starting position and in the end position. The vehicle seat includes a first upper rail, which is movably guided in a first lower rail, a second upper rail, which is movably guided in a second lower rail, and a seat cushion, which is movably mounted on the at least one upper rail.
