<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method by which an intermediate image formed in an intermediate transfer body does not shrink and an high optical density image is formed during transferring the intermediate image to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording method includes a process to impart a liquid composition to the intermediate transfer body, a process to form the intermediate image by imparting an ink to the intermediate transfer body such that the ink overlaps in at least a part of an area to which the liquid composition is imparted, and a process to transfer the intermediate image to the recording medium. The liquid composition contains an organic acid, and the ink contains a water-soluble resin which is insolubilized by action of the organic acid, resin fine particles and a coloring material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
