<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of positional identification of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (1) comprises: imaging means (6) which images an image of a subject; subject position detection means (5) which detects the position of a main subject among plural imaged subjects; place information storing and holding means (22) which previously stores and holds information on various places on a map; place information extraction means (5) which extracts place information capable of identifying the position of the main subject among the plural subjects, by referring to the place information storing and holding means; and image recording means (5) which associates the place information with an image imaged by the imaging means and records them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
