<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest for vehicle inhibiting a situation of wrinkling a surface material when an arm or the like is put thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The armrest 30 includes an upper surface part 32 on which an arm of an occupant can be put. The upper surface part 32 includes an armrest base material 41, a soft material 52 covering the upper surface of the armrest base material 41, and the surface material 61 covering the upper surface of the soft material 52. The surface 61A of the surface material 61 on the soft material 52 side is formed of an adhesive area S2 arranged relatively at the outside in a vehicle compartment and adhered to the soft material 52, and a non-adhesive area S1 arranged relatively at the inside in the vehicle compartment and not adhered to the soft material 52.
