<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption processing apparatus capable of maintaining tamper resistance without remarkably deteriorating the throughput against an analysis combining a bias attack method and a DPA (Differential Power Analysis) method. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed an encryption processing apparatus of the present invention, comprising: secret key storage means for storing a secret key; dummy key generation means for generating a plurality of dummy keys having the same Hamming weight as the secret key; and encryption processing means for performing an encryption processing by using the secret key and the plurality of dummy keys. By this configuration, the side channel leakages that are typified by current consumption and the like at the time of processing the value of the key become similar wave forms so that discrimination of the regular operations from the dummy operations becomes difficult.
