<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor capable of easily replacing a case body including an electric circuit such as a sensor circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation sensor includes: an automatic alignment bearing 6 including an outer ring 12 fitted to a bearing housing 8; and an adaptor sleeve 7 to which the inner ring 13 of the automatic alignment bearing 6 and a rotational shaft 3 are fitted. In a case body 2 that is constituted by an annular resin case, an electric circuit including a magnetic sensor element 24 with a back magnet 23, power generation circuits 19 and 20, a power supply circuit 21, and a transmission/reception device 22, and a permanent magnet 30 are housed. In the rotation sensor, a case seat 36 is formed at the inner peripheral end of the bearing housing 8, and a bearing shoulder part 17 that limits the assembling position of the bearing 6 in an axial direction and a case shoulder part 37 that limits the insertion position at which the case body 2 is fitted to the case seat 36 in the axial direction are formed.
