PURPOSE: A slag sorting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to evenly spread slag while a magnet device is rotated, thereby improving the recovery rate of an Fe component of the slag. CONSTITUTION: A slag sorting apparatus comprises an outer housing(110), an inner housing(120), a magnet device(130), and a turning device(150). The inner housing is arranged in the outer housing. The magnet device includes a plurality of magnets(140) which covers the top space between the outer housing and the inner housing. The plurality of magnets can be rotated upwards and downwards so that the space between the outer housing and the inner housing opens and closes. The magnet device allows the Fe component of input slag to adhere thereto, and then discharges the slag to the space between the outer housing and the inner housing. The turning device allows the magnet device to turn along the columnar direction of the outer housing. |
