PURPOSE: A shock absorbing apparatus for the tongs of a grapple is provided to prevent mechanical fatigue or destruction from occurring by gripping objects using six tongs under the identical pressure. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing apparatus for the tongs of a grapple includes a body housing, a body hinge part, a hydraulic unit(4), and a grapple body(5). The body housing forms a linking arm. The body hinge part is installed under the body housing. The hydraulic unit is connected to the bottom center of the body hinge part. The lower part of the hydraulic unit is attached to the grapple body. Six tongs(6, 6') are mounted at the grapple body. Shock-absorbing bars are installed between adhesion holes(12, 12') of the tongs and between the adhesion holes(3') of the main hinge part. |
