<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator manufacturing method that can suppress damages to coils without making the configuration of a coil inserting device complex. <P>SOLUTION: A stator manufacturing method uses a coil inserting device provided with a coil holder, a position adjuster and a coil extruder to manufacture a stator by winding around a stator core a coil having a spiral coil end part. The position adjuster has a plurality of protrusive teeth protruding in the diametric direction, each tooth being so formed as to extend from an opening of a slot to the inside. The stator manufacturing method has a first coil winding step P20 at which a plurality of annular conductors constituting a first coil part are inserted into the slot, and a second coil winding step P40 at which the position adjuster is shifted in the axial direction and, while suppressing the parts of the first coil part disposed in the slot in the diametric direction with the end face of the protrusive teeth in the diametric direction, a plurality of annular conductors constituting a second coil part are inserted into the slot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
