<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device 1 capable of reliably performing a failure diagnosis of a WakeUP timer 3a. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device (FIECU) 1 includes a first timer (WakeUP timer) for clocking the time while the ignition switch (IGSW) 9 of a vehicle is turned off, and a microcomputer (Main CPU) 2 started when the first timer 3a clocks the time equal to the set value while the ignition switch 9 is turned off, or when the ignition switch 9 is turned from off to on. The electronic control device (FIECU) 1 includes a second timer (a SOAK time clocking circuit) 4a for clocking the time when the ignition switch 9 is turned off. The first timer 3a resets the clocked time when clocking the time equal to the set value, continues the time clocking even after the reset, and determines abnormal conditions when a difference of the time clocked by the first timer 3a and the second timer 4a when the ignition switch 9 is turned on, is different from the set value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
