A secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: a metal can including an open portion and an accommodating portion for accommodating an electrode assembly and an electrolyte; a metal cap which is placed on the open portion of the can to seal the can; and a fuse-joining member which has a melting point lower than a melting point of the can and the cap, and joins the can and the cap while arranged in the joining portion between the can and the cap, wherein the fuse-joining member is fused by local heating to join the can and cap. |
