INTERPOLATION METHOD FOR RADIO MAP CONSTRUCTION USING VORONOI TESSELLATION AND DEVICE USING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: An interpolation method using a voronoi tessellation technique for radio map construction and a device thereof are provided to save expenses of a process of collecting fingerprint information and consider signal fading which is generated by a wall or an obstacle, thereby supplying technology of constructing a radio map with improved accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of reference points measures intensity of signals which are transmitted by each AP(Access Point)(310). A plurality of parameters related to an interpolation function is obtained by using the intensity of the signals and each position of the plurality of reference points(320). One or more parameters are adjusted by using a voronoi tessellation technique(330). One parameter performs interpolation for estimating a position based on the plurality of parameters and the interpolation function(340).
