<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed cycle system for recovering waste heat. <P>SOLUTION: The closed cycle system for waste heat recovery includes a heat exchanger composed to transfer heat from an external heat source to a working fluid; an expander in fluid connection with the heat exchanger, and composed to expand the working fluid and generate mechanical energy; a recuperator in fluid connection with the expander and composed to remove heat from the working fluid; a condensation unit in fluid connection with the recuperator and composed to condense the working fluid; and a pump 20 in fluid connection with the condensation unit, and composed to pump-feed the working fluid back to the recuperator.
