<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an embedded magnet type rotor in which cracking and chipping of a permanent magnet are prevented during operation, and the permanent magnet can be removed easily from the rotor core when recycling. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor core is formed of an outer rotor core and an inner rotor core fitted in the outer rotor core. A permanent magnet is disposed in a permanent magnet attachment hole formed between the outer rotor core and inner rotor core.
