<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for aluminium electrolytic capacitors, having excellent durability and high spark voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte for aluminium electrolytic capacitors contains: an aprotic solvent (A); an electrolyte (D) consisting of a salt of a cation (B) represented by a specified chemical formula and a 2-15C saturated aliphatic divalent carboxylic acid mono anion (C); and a boric acid ester (E). The 2-15C saturated aliphatic divalent carboxylic acid mono anion (C) is preferably an oxalic acid mono anion, or a mixed anion of a saturated aliphatic divalent carboxylic acid mono anion (C1) having 1-7C existing at the shortest between two carboxyl groups and/or a saturated aliphatic divalent carboxylic acid mono anion (C2) having 8-13C existing at the shortest between two carboxyl groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
