<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit and method for monitoring air flow, capable of facilitating a grasp of the air flow of air blown off from a fan, and to provide a heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: The windmill type unit Y for monitoring air flow comprises: a windmill 32 that is supported at such a position as to face an outer air inlet 18 or an outer air outlet 20 through a support member 31; a power generation section 33 that converts rotational energy of the windmill 32 into electric power; a substrate that is connected to the power generation section 33 and detects the electric power generated by the power generation section 33; and a notification section connected to the substrate, and determines whether or not wind passing through a filter 17 exceeds a predetermined air flow, depending upon the magnitude of electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
