PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which display or the like of an operation panel can be customized so as to match the functions of the device.

SOLUTION: The image forming device having an operation panel which allows touch operation includes: receiving means for receiving a program to be used when the operation panel is operated; application type discrimination means for discriminating a type of the program received by the receiving means; means for checking a type of the operation panel; determination means for determining whether or not the type of the program according to the application type discrimination means and the type of the operation panel fit each other; and modification means for modifying a part of the program so that the type of the program fits the operation panel, on the basis of the determination result of the determination means.
