<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for holding a measuring tape, which enables a worker to tightly hold a scale by a single hand, easily and accurately set a division 0 of the scale to a reference position and accurately read divisions of the scale, and to provide the measuring tape allowing the worker to tightly hold the tape and accurately read divisions. <P>SOLUTION: In the auxiliary tool for holding a scale C between a pair of holding members 11, the pair of the holding members 11 are arranged so as to approach/separate to/from each other. A pair of holding faces 11a opposed to each other is formed in the pair of holding members 11, and an end face of each holding member 11 is formed as a cylindrical face 11c. When the pair of holding members 11 is allowed to approach to each other and the scale C is held between the pair of holding faces 11a, the scale C can be tightly held. When the end face of the cylindrical face 11c of the holding member 11 is previously set so as to be abutted on the surface of an object to be measured, a 0-position of the scale C can be simply fine-adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
