<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve labor saving in a work for fixing a handrail panel, labor saving and efficiency improvement in a work for adjusting a handrail panel holder position, and accuracy improvement in reproducibility when reassembling a handrail panel after adjusting the handrail panel holder position. <P>SOLUTION: A device of holding a handrail panel includes a holder body (11) with a receiver face (11a) for fixing/holding a handrail panel (1), a toggle clamp (12) connected to the holder body (11), maintains a uniform force by being automatically locked at clamp closing and enables the uniform force to act continuously until the clamp is opened, and a pressing board (13) attached to the front end of the toggle clamp (12) to press the handrail panel (1) onto the receiver face (11a) for fixing/holding the handrail panel (1) when the toggle clamp (12) is closed. In addition, the holder body (11) is fixed in a position-adjustable manner onto a main frame (30) of a passenger conveyor via a bracket (20) while fixing/holding the handrail panel (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
