PURPOSE: An apparatus for disassembling and an assembling a desiccant canister of an air dryer of a railway vehicle is provided to prevent safety accidents by preventing the bounce of an upper cover due to the elasticity of a compression coil spring and to prevent damage to parts due to unskilled works. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for disassembling and an assembling a desiccant canister of an air dryer of a railway vehicle comprises a pair of sliding guides(3a,3b), a desiccant canister placing part(5), a pair of moving rollers(6a,6b), and a transfer slide plate(4). The sliding guides are formed on both sides of the top surface of a lower frame(2) in parallel. The desiccant canister placing part is formed on the top of the sliding guides. The moving rollers are formed on the front and rear sides of the underside of the transfer slide plate.
