<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room access management system capable of reducing the power consumption of an electric lock while preventing an unauthorized person from passing through a door. <P>SOLUTION: A room access management system includes: an electric lock disposed in a door and maintaining a locked state of the door when a current is supplied in the state of the door being closed; an authentication device disposed nearby the door; a detection device for detecting an event of a door-opening operation being performed; and a control device for performing control so as to cut supply of a current to the electric lock when no door-opening operation is performed, supply a current to the electric lock if a person is not authenticated when a door-opening operation is performed, or maintain cutting of supply of a current to the electric lock if a person is authenticated when a door-opening operation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
