<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter frame easily manufactured and reduced in weight and moreover being equivalent in strength to a conventional filter frame using four rectangular thick metal materials or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The filter frame 1 includes a long-sized material 5 having a plate-like body part 7, and a flange part 9 projected from the body part 7 in a direction to intersect the thickness direction of the body part 7 and provided with a plurality of notches 11 in the flange part 9 at longitudinal intermediate parts.
