PURPOSE: A device for clamping a main shaft head attachment of a machine tool is provided to prevent the damage of bearing by minimizing the pressure applied to a sub-spindle when clamping and to improve processing ability by preventing the clamping ratio from lowering according to the processing thrust when processing. CONSTITUTION: A device for clamping a main shaft head attachment of a machine tool comprises an attachment head(10), a sub-spindle(20), a rotary coupling(31), a clamp coupling(32), a clamping flow path(41), an unclamping flow path(42), and a damping piston(50). The unclamping flow path supplies fluid pressure to move the clamp coupling to be far from the rotary coupling along a pivot(B) of the sub-spindle. The damping piston moves the sub-spindle to the opposite direction of the clamp coupling.
