<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tool that allows easy training at home, can change a load freely, and has a buffer function which prevents muscle from being hurt due to a visit to a training gym and the like, is the best way for muscle training and the rehabilitation of paralysis resulting from a disease, however costly and time-consuming. <P>SOLUTION: A pocket is disposed on an outer surface of a cloth-made cylindrical member that is expandable and contractible, and an elongate plate-shaped elastic member is inserted. By changing the number of the elastic members, the material and thickness of the elastic member or by mounting a rubber band on one surface, a load can be adjusted and a buffer function is exhibited due to a frictional force of the laminated pates.
