<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption key generation device capable of efficiently generating an encryption key by using a physically unclonable function, and further to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: An encryption key generation device of one embodiment comprises: a conversion section; a storage section; a generation section; and a comparison section. The conversion section converts input information into output information by a physically unclonable function and outputs the output information. The storage section stores a plurality of pieces of information of positions individually indicated by a plurality of pieces of index information in the output information as a plurality of pieces of pattern information therein. On the basis of the plurality of pieces of index information, the generation section generates an encryption key. The comparison section individually compares the output information and the plurality of pieces of pattern information and detects a plurality of positions where information similar to the plurality of pieces of pattern information appears in the output information. Further, the generation section reproduces the plurality of positions detected by the comparison section as the plurality of pieces of index information and, on the basis of the plurality of pieces of index information reproduced, reproduces the encryption key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
