PURPOSE: A half nut fastening mechanism for an injection molding machine is provided to simultaneously drive two divided nuts formed into one half nut using a simple structure in order to fasten and unfasten the half nut, thereby simplifying the structure of a fastening device. CONSTITUTION: A half nut fastening mechanism for an injection molding machine includes half nuts (100,200), slide blocks (310,320), a driving pulley (400), links (510,520) for the blocks, and connecting links (610,620). The half nuts are respectively divided into first divided nuts (110,210) and second divided nut (120,220) at both sides of tie bars (31,32). The half nuts slide on a movable plate in the radial directions of the tie bars. The slide blocks slides on the movable plate with being integrally connected to the first divided nuts. The driving pulley is placed at the second divided nuts of the half nuts. The driving pulley is bi-directionally rotated by a driving source. One end of the link is hinged at a position radially separated from outside the center of the driving pulley at a certain distance. The other end of the link is hinged at the slide block. One end of the connecting link is hinged at a position circumferentially separated against the hinged position of the link at a certain angle. The other end of the connecting link is rotatably hinged at the second divided nut.
