<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charge and discharge control device capable of appropriately estimating over-discharge of a secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine control system 10 includes a rotary electric machine 12, a power supply circuit 14, and a control device 30. The power supply circuit 14 includes a secondary battery 16 that is a nickel-hydrogen battery pack. The secondary battery 16 is provided with a battery voltage detector 22 detecting an inter-terminal voltage V<SB POS="POST">B</SB>, a current detector 24 detecting a battery current I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>, and a temperature detector 26 detecting a battery temperature θ<SB POS="POST">B</SB>. The control device 30 has a function as a battery charge and discharge control device for performing charge and discharge control of the secondary battery 16. An over-discharge estimation part 32 estimates an internal pressure of the secondary battery 16 on the basis of V<SB POS="POST">B</SB>, I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>, and θ<SB POS="POST">B</SB>, and estimates whether or not the secondary battery 16 is in an over-discharge state on the basis of the estimated internal pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
